Permanent Account Sale Ends Today

This is a quick reminder that the Permanent Account sale ends tonight, Thursday, June 28th at 11:59PM PDT. Once the sale is over, we have no idea when there's going to be another one!

If you bought your account during the first 36 hours of the sale, you have until 11:59PM PDT on June 30th to designate which organization you'd like to receive your full $25 donation. If you don't respond to the poll sent in your confirmation email, we'll divide your $25 equally among all four organizations. If you can't find your confirmation email, access the poll here (that will only work for those of you who bought your permanent account during that first 36 hours and are logged in).

Head to the Gift Shop to purchase a Permanent Account for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

We'd also like to remind everyone that we're going to be having some downtime on Friday for planned maintenance. Please see the latest post in [info]lj_maintenance for the full details.

I bought a perm account. I'm very very very happy I did get one, now I won't have to pay another cent! lol

Keep up the good work and please don't delete my lj. I signed up for rainbowofwords just for shits and giggles and two months and 12 posts later? They deleted it and I'm highly pissed off about that.

Mind you I've had this lj since 2001 so I am not to worried about that happening to this account here, even Strikethrough07 aside. A bit weary, but not overly.

Keep up the good work Krissy and lj team!

rainbowofwords was never registered here - if it had been registered on LJ, you'd be getting an error message saying "deleted and purged," not "never registered." Sure you're not thinking of something else?

Another One??

when will there be another permanent account sale?? hopefully the next time there is one I too can become a permanent member. I have 5 kids to take care so it's hard to spend $150 that I don't really have right now. If anyone knows when there will be another one, please let me know......

Permanent Accounts

I wish you guys would do the Permanent Account sales more than ONCE a year...the holidays would be yet another good time to offer them, as many people like to give unique gifts to their loved ones for Christmas.

I am unable to get one this time due to bills that need paid first and foremost or I would have gotten one this time around. Hence my suggestion for doing them EVERY YEAR, TWICE A YEAR!

Not for permanent accounts, but $150 in the yearly membership would get you 5 years paid time and extra icons. So... not permanent, but in internet-years that's an eon.

Hee Do what I did. Buy a perm account (which is where you pay 150 us bucks and you NEVER have to pay again!!!!!) and then you can just transfer the money you just paid for it to anybody on your friends list!
