Nick Yonce, [info]nickrock, wrote to me awhile back asking if we'd sue him or something if his band Mirrors On Shoes did a song about LiveJournal. I laughed and said of course not, but I'd love to hear it if they did do it....

Song diffenetly rocks!

Only probably is like [info]evan said It's hard to hear the lyrics. I forget who said it but one of the things you dont want to do if you plan on making it is say "it comes with a lyric sheet".

I always prefer if I can't understand all the lyrics in a song the first time though... after listening to it a bunch you keep getting more out of it.

hrmm... I'm game.... I'm gonna guess, there's like 50,000 LJ accounts? Maybe a quarter of them will download it... 12,500 downloads..... file is 3.17 megs... let's round that to 3.20, to make this easier... 40 gigs of transfer? (ouch)

Hah, that song's pretty cool... even though it is hard to hear the lyrics the first time, but, eh, that's almost any song that's not pop-y.

Best part was that it was a superfast download... yay for Speakeasy and LJ going through the same place!

Is it just the music genre that makes it feel like the singer is at the top (or out) of his vocal range? I like the music, but agree with those saying the words are a little difficult to catch. Excellent effort and very catchy. =)

I found myself tapping to the rhythm. I like the guitar rift or whatever that is that's repetitive in the background. And an hour later, the refrain is still in my head. My brother is shaking his head and saying I'm obsessed. I read it all day, MUST i sing it as well? :)

Not bad, not bad at all. Talk about LOL for the day. I say make a midi and permanently place it somewhere in the site. Sort of like LJ karaoke. ;)

Whoever is hosting the song, good luck. I got cut off at 1.5 megs and decided to take it easy on the servers. I have heard enough to give me last song syndrome. ;)
