Dear Friends,

In October we presented you integration with Unsplash.com and promised you a collaboration with another cool service. Finally, it's time to show our hands!

From now on you can create collages, images with text & infographics with Canva.com without leaving the page!

Let us begin!

Probably, you've already know Canva.com:

Canva is a free graphic design platform that's great for making invitations, business cards, Instagram posts, and more. 

Now you can see the Canva button in JL entry instruments

Click it! And you'll see other hidden functions.

1. Create blog banner with Canva

If you didn't use Canva in the past, you need to sign up. 

Let's talk about features you can use in your blog!

Create an image with the text

1. Choose a template from those suggested in the left column
2. Edit text
3. Choose colors and images to your taste
4. When everything is ready - click the "Publish" button
5. The image will appear in your post and be saved to your photo album.

How to use images with text?

1. You can make a header image at the beginning of the post, which will be displayed in ratings, friends' feeds, and when sharing on social networks;
2. You can use this template as a rubricator in a long read - start with a picture of a part of a post;
3. Or to draw attention to some issue.

Here is an example of using such an image with text. Its dimensions are 1920x1080 pixels:

Creating collages

Do you like collages? Because we do! It's a great opportunity to show other users more images at once. Upload your pictures at Canva.com and create fabulous collages. Faster and more simple!

1. Choose a template;
2. Pick up photos or upload your own, adjust the text of the template, change the proportions or position of objects as you like;
3. When everything is ready - click the "Publish" button;
4. The collage you've created will appear in your post and be saved to your photo album.

Tip: You can edit any templates, change the proportions of objects, add, delete, reshape and resize it.

Creating infographics

Do you have the information you want to draw attention to? The data that would look greater in a graphic form? Create an infographic!

1. Choose a template from Canva.com
2. Edit the layout and texts
3. When everything is ready - click the "Publish" button
4. The created infographic will appear in your entry and will be saved as an image in your photo album.

Tip: Infographics can not replace the text! Remember, that all the information you've presented in the created infographic must be duplicated in the text of the entry. Otherwise, search engines simply won't find your post. They can't read texts on images!
